It was clear that the Cloud Runner was much faster than the Harpy, even without any boosters engaged. She eased the throttle back a bit, and allowed him catch up as they left the atmosphere and emerged into the airless void of space. The Harpy slid into a wingman position with relative ease, but then it wobbled a bit. “Sorry,” Shadow’s voice came over the comm system. “They’ve apparently tweaked the steering system as well.
